I was born and raised in Indiana, but my heart feels at home in California; where I lived until I retired as an Officer from the US Navy. I have also been a Registered Nurse for almost 25 years caring for both adults and children in military and civilian settings. My passion for children stems from growing up in an in-home daycare setting; where my mother provided 24 hour childcare. I have also had the wonderful experience of raising 2 children of my own. My desire to nurture each child’s interests to help them become strong solid individuals who respect themselves, motivated me to further my education in the area of childcare. In order to give children the best possible experience, I chose to complete a Master’s Degree in Education with a concentration in Early Childhood Development. Armed with both experience and formal education, I look forward to meeting you and your children and creating a positive environment where wonderful memories are created.
